PhD Year 3 In Review
My 3rd year flew by. I still don't believe it is already over and I feel like I still have not done much research.

My 3rd year flew by. I still don't believe it is already over and I feel like I still have not done much research.

The second year of this PhD was strange. I don't feel like I was particularly productive and I'm not sure if I can disentangle how much was pandemic and how much was regular un-productivity.

In August of 2020, I spent a night indoors and got sucked into the dark space that is ergonomics youtube, leading me to impulse spend $365 on a split keyboard.

"Is this a real startup?", I would often ask myself in the time between working on projects.

The purpose of this post is to force myself to reflect on my life decisions, have a record of my decision process as a young adult on the internet forever, and help someone.
I've been telling people my goal is to start a company at some point during my Ph.D, and since I'm going to be in LA for the foreseeable future, I did some intense DuckDuckGo-ing to examine the state of LA's biotech scene.
